July 2022: Jonathan Wilson appointed as CEO

December 2017 – March 2018: Relocated manufacturing facility from the PV Accelerator Building at Shotton Works, North Wales to the state-of-the-art modern facility at G Cell Building, South Lake Drive, Imperial Park, Newport, NP10 8AS.

May 2017: BIPVco’s latest generation of Flextron building integrated and mobile photovoltaic solutions achieve IEC 61646:2008 and IEC 61730-2:2007 requirements for PV module design according to IEC 61730-1:2007 with all testing being carried out by TUV Rheinland.

December 2016: BIPVco have won Solar Technology of the Year and Clean Tech Start Up of the year in the Business Green Technology Awards

October 2016: Ken Skates, Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure for Welsh Government, visited BIPVco facilities at Shotton Steel works

October 2016: SAB Miller invests in ‘pioneering’ solar integrated roofing at Nigeria Brewery

September 2016: Wales Online “The new classroom that creates more energy than it uses”

September 2016: BIPVco take part in a pilot project for Floating Homes, which was also featured in the Guardian

September 2016: BBC News covers the Active Classroom pilot build in Swansea

August 2016: BIPVco has been shortlisted for Wales Start Up of the year

June 2016: BIPVco are featured in Network Magazine published by BPVA

April 2015: Innovation Management Ltd, an IOM registered venture capital company investing in green technologies, has acquired 53% of BIPV Ltd from Swansea University and undertakes to complete the incubation and launch of ‘first to world’ products into the market during 2016
