Adam Hart our Chief Executive Officer will be attending InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin this September, where he’ll be representing BIPVco as part of the Welsh Government delegation on the UK Pavilion.

InnoTrans is one of the world’s leading exhibitions for rail technology and provides an excellent opportunity to meet with industry leaders, infrastructure owners, rolling stock manufacturers, engineering companies and innovators who are helping shape the future of rail.

BIPVco is passionate about integrating lightweight solar technology into both rail infrastructure and rolling stock, delivering practical solutions that improve sustainability, reduce operational costs and support the industry’s journey towards net zero.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do. As a UK manufacturer, we don’t simply supply standard products, we work closely with customers to design and manufacture bespoke photovoltaic solutions that integrate seamlessly into vehicles, buildings and specialist infrastructure. From prototype development through to volume production, our in-house engineering and manufacturing capability enables us to respond quickly to unique technical challenges and deliver solutions where conventional solar technologies are often unable to meet the application requirements.

I’d welcome the opportunity to meet with organisations interested in discussing:
• Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) for stations, depots and rail infrastructure.
• Mobile Integrated Photovoltaics (MIPV) for maintenance vehicles, rolling stock and specialist transport applications.
• Bespoke PV module design and manufacture for unique rail applications.
• Lightweight, flexible solar solutions where conventional glass modules are not practical.
• Collaborative innovation projects and future deployment opportunities.
• How UK manufacturing can support sustainable rail infrastructure.

We’ve already been fortunate to work alongside a number of excellent organisations within the rail sector, and we’re excited to explore new opportunities and partnerships during the exhibition.

Adam Hart, Chief Executive

If you’re attending InnoTrans between 22–25 September, I’d be delighted to arrange a meeting.
