A unique architectural self-build project featured on Grand Designs.

A master carpenter has realised his dream of building an incredible Grand Designs triangular house on a half-acre land he bought for £160,000 hemmed in by mainline railway and busy road.

Declared one of a handful of ‘favourite builds ever’ by Grand Designs viewers, the stunning design features Flextron solar modules, used to power the home.

The low-profile and discrete photovoltaic panels sit flush with the slopping zinc roof, adding to the futuristic look of the property.

This is beautiful, it’s exquisite and the building is so finely tuned.
