Hi everyone, my name is Morton. I am the newest member of the BIPVco team, and I am writing this blog at the end of my first week here. I do not originally have a solar or environmental background, but I am very keen to learn about the industry!

BIPVco was an entirely new company to me, and I’d not seen or read much about it, but I am interested in how we can all take steps to make our daily lives more environmentally friendly.

I’m a bit of a tech nerd, and I love new and innovative ideas. BIPVco’s products are definitely an innovation I haven’t come across before; the flexibility that they can offer architects for new and existing buildings and people who like to explore and go off-grid with the panels that MIPV, the mobile side of the business has to offer are all fantastic and right up my street!

In my first week, I have learnt a lot about all the modules that BIPVco offers and their uses on different modern buildings; my favourite is the Triangle House based in Sussex. This building was featured on an episode of Grand Designs and is a feat of architectural brilliance, made possible with BIPVco Flextron Panels. In the first couple of days of getting my bearings, I learned all the different moving parts that make up the BIPVco team!

Assisting the Marketing and Sales teams specifically, they are all lovely members of staff and some amazing people who are all very knowledgeable, experienced and driven. Everyone was very welcoming and instantly made me feel like a valued member of the team. I was also given a tour of the factory and a step-by-step process of how all the panels are made by hand. It was great to see the step-by-step process they were taken through to ensure the highest quality was maintained throughout. All the production staff are lovely and have fantastic attention to detail, which is great to see.

I am very excited to see where my time at BIPVco takes me, and I am looking forward to learning all I can about how to be more sustainable and grow with BIPVco.
